FOL BookStore Code of Conduct
All shoppers are expected to conduct themselves with courtesy.
- When parking your cart by the shelves, be sure your cart does not block foot traffic or bookshelves.
- When you fill a cart and wish to start a second cart, please place the first cart in the holding area.
- Please no pushing or shoving, throwing books on the floor, or verbal discourtesy.
Reshelving rejected books takes up volunteer time and prevents other shoppers from having a chance to buy the book. Therefore:
- When deciding against a book, always place the book back where you found it, in an upright position.
- Any book you choose not to buy should be left in its original location.
- Do not overfill carts, intending to reject books upon further evaluation.
FOL reserves the right to remove anyone from the sales area for discourteous or dangerous behavior.
